[VFX]-Brad's thought

Brad Bird, the director of "The Incredibles", was in his late 30s when he was drafting the story.
His thought is refrected in this film.
This was impressive for me so I quote:

"If you hadn't succeeded in your career, really succeeded, by the time you were middle-aged with commitments at home, did you have to reconcile yourself to scaling down your definition of success, or giving up altogether?"
